Burgenland with highest seven-day incidence
The province with the highest seven-day incidence is Burgenland with 1,075.9, followed by Lower Austria, Vienna, and Vorarlberg (692.1, 676.1, and 476.1, respectively). Further, Upper Austria (471.9), Carinthia (456.8), Salzburg (426.9), Styria (403.9), and Tyrol (345.4) follow.
111 in intensive care units
In Austria, hospitals are currently 1,489 Covid patients. That is three less than yesterday Monday and 393 less than a week ago. 111 people now require intensive care – 13 fewer than the previous day and 36 fewer than a week ago
